The oval link mouthpiece reduces pressure on the tongue and with the thicker, rounded center link it milder than most other double jointed snaffles. A full cheek bit assists with turning and when used with a set of bit keepers, the bit is very stable in the horse's mouth. Making it ideal for sensitive-mouthed horses. Full cheek bits should not be used in mounted games like polocrosse, where equipment could be caught on the extended bars. |
