The center of the Concept Pad pad is wider and thinner than traditional saddle pads.

The new Concept line of saddle pads came from discussions by Masters Saddler's and Saddle Fitters being frustrated with some of the saddle pad designs. Some of the pads did not adhere to the saddle base due to the shape and wrong placement of attachments no matter how well the saddles were fitted.
The best pad shapes have a good true "drop". The Concept pad tests exceptionally well under the Pliance System with pressures greatly reduced and less friction between the horse and the saddle, hence no movement. Made of quilted cotton with a thin layer of foam and felt inside.
