Legacy Crupper Attachment Used to attach a crupper to an English saddle. Provides a safe and solid place of attachment for a crupper on a saddle that does not have a built in D for this purpose. A crupper itself helps to prevent saddles from slipping too far forward onto the withers. Leather is cut into a T shape. Two pieces are stitched together and reinforced at the bar of the T. The T can be inserted into the gullet of any size. On an English saddle from a 13 child''s saddle to a 19 All Purpose. The attachment is then pulled all the way to the end of the gullet towards the cantle of the saddle. A crupper is then attached to the hole punched through the end of the attachment. Length is 5.125. width is 5 at the T, weighs approx 1.7 oz.. Made from American leather, available in Black or Havana.
